My Story
Michael Frost, a retired lawyer, now resides with his wife of many years in Vancouver, British Columbia. Upon retirement from the Bar, he took time to reflect on his previous career as an officer at sea with P&O-Orient Lines during the sixties. By reviewing his diaries, notebooks and his Discharge book, he compiled this book of remembrances of people, the world’s ports, and the ever-changing world of ships and the sea to compose a personal record of the changes in his self, the shipping world, the economics of shipping, and the constancy of change in politics and mores of a newly emerging world order. Michael is known for his wit and humour, which shine through each chapter of his book.
